The Town Council is very pleased to able to jointly commission the first sculpture outdoors in Immingham for over 40 years. Sculpture always provokes comment and no doubt this one will too, but the consensus seems to be that it is a fantastic addition to the town. Created by Drew Scrimshaw, a senior pupil at Oasis Academy Immingham, “Our Family” depicts a mother and father with two children. Constructed from galvanised tubular steel it now occupies a prominent position outside the Civic Centre in the town. The Mayor, Councillor Mark Sandford said “We are very proud to have been able, yet again to work closely with our partners at Oasis Academy Immingham and thank them for the assistance they have given us in delivering this project” ![]()
