Immingham Town Council opens new Neighbourhood Office
The Town Council has opened new offices at the rear of the Civic Centre Building. The new office, which is fully accessible even by those with limited mobility, is a great improvement on the previous facility. Currently the office will be shared by Shoreline Housing Partnership under a 4 year agreement. Tenants will be able to speak to a Shoreline assistant via a dedicated telephone, pay their rent via a new “Allpay” automated kiosk and receive personal attention from Town Council staff.
This initiative by the Town Council has ensured that despite very difficult financial times, the service will still be available in the Town. Town Council staff will be on hand at all times to staff the facility and deal with the full range of enquiries such as hall bookings, allotments and cemetery enquiries.
The office is open all through the day from 9am until 4.30, Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 4pm on Fridays. It is anticipated the North East Lincolnshire Council will share the office too later on in the year, ensuring that residents have an all in one “One Stop Shop”
